POSITION SUMMARY:HUB Heartland is seeking to add a construction focused Client Manager to their Commercial Lines team! The Construction Client Manager will manage assigned commercial lines property & casualty accounts (larger commercial and industrial construction clients) to ensure profitability and a high level of retention. We offer:Competitive salaries and benefits offeringsMedical/dental/vision insurance and voluntary insurance optionsHealth Savings Account funding401k matching programCompany paid Life and Short-Term Disability PlansSupplemental Life and Long-Term Disability OptionsComprehensive Wellness ProgramPaid Parental LeaveGenerous PTO Package - Vacation, Holiday, Sick, and Personal Time OffGreat work/life balance, because that’s important for all of us!Focus on creating a meaningful environment through employee engagement eventsThe ability to be a part of a motivated, winning team with the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are amongst the top talent in the industry!Growth potential - HUB is constantly growing and so can your career!A rewarding career that helps local businesses in the communityStrong community support and involvement through HUB GivesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain relationships with assigned clients, serving as primary contact for all insurance questions and policy changesAttend and participate in carrier and client meetingsTake primary responsibility for policy expiration management and client renewal processesOwns the renewal marketing process and develops marketing strategy for assigned renewal businessPerforms periodic coverage and risk reviews to ensure the adequacy of every clients’ insurance program, as well as contract reviews as requested by clientsReview bid specifications and complete contract reviews for construction clientsSupport Advisors through marketing new prospective clients, communicating with carrier underwriters on the risk profile, determining where the best fit for the prospective client is and providing proposalsComplete policy application details for newly bound policies into EpicHandle communications and correspondences from HUB associates, clients and carriers and work diligently to answer questions or resolve issuesAgency billing including new business, renewal, and endorsement invoicingAssist with claim reporting and follow up as neededSupport and adhere to agency goals and objectivesPerform all other duties as assigned by Commercial Lines ManagerREQUIREMENTS:Four years progressively responsible experience in an independent commercial lines insurance agency required OR similar years of related work experience dealing directly with commercial insurance coveragesPrior experience managing client accounts in the commercial construction space is highly desiredPossess state insurance licensure as required by the Ohio State Department of Insurance to provide risk management consulting or risk transfer solutions as necessary in the state of Ohio OR be willing/able to obtain required licensure within the first 90 days of employmentProfessional designations such as CISR, MLIS, CRIS, CIC, ARM, CRM, and CPCU are preferredCollege degree preferred.
