We seek a passionate individual to join our team at Ristoranté Brissago, a contemporary Italian restaurant at the resort that sources local, seasonal ingredients. As a part time Host you will greet and escort guests to their tables, maintaining courteous and efficient dining room operations to ensure superior guest satisfaction.Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler.   • Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Ensure even distribution of tables for each server.
  • Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials.
  • Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
  • Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests.
  • Beverage table if needed and/or time allows.
  • Clean and display proper menus before, during, and after shift.
  • Assist with all to-go orders.
  • Assist wait staff and bus staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned per Manager.
What do you bring to the role?
  • No prior experience required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions.
  • Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations.
  • Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
  • Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
