The Manufacturing Engineer II is tasked with planning and designing manufacturing processes within an industrial setting. Additionally, this engineer offers direct advisory support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation to enhance manufacturing operations, encompassing machining, metal forming, plastics processing, welding and brazing, assembly, and material handling.Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Developing plans, process specifications, procedures, production aids, and assembly fixtures.
-Conducting MRP support studies and developing factory cost work standards of similar complexity.
-Analyzing and evaluating test and production data, providing technical analysis, and recommending manufacturing methods and processes to meet design objectives.
-Providing technical support on the production floor and in assembly matters related to drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework, manufacturing challenges, and specifications.
-Performing analysis or tests for the development of new methods, materials, processes, or standards, and offering corresponding recommendations.
-Coordinating with other technical support personnel.
-Assigning work to drafters, technicians, technical writers, engineering technicians, and machine shop personnel as needed.Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
-Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
-Proficiency in analytical and CAD software.
-Knowledge of engineering science and technology application.
-Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models production.
-Strong understanding of mechanical and manufacturing theory and design.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
