The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide services outlined below:International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is an experienced Dental Assistant to support dentists by preparing patients for procedures, assisting during treatments, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dental office. They play a crucial role in patient care, comfort, and efficient dental operations.Key Responsibilities:
Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures to include restorative, prosthodontic and surgical procedures.
Prepare the treatment rooms and instruments for patient care ensuring appropriateness as to procedure being delivered.
Retract tissue, suction, and pass instruments during procedures.
Take digital radiographs.
Follow all infection control standards and protocols.
Comply with the VA regulations for safety and privacy.
Meet the needs of the customer while supporting the medical center and service mission.
Treat patients, visitors, volunteers and all medical center staff in a courteous, tactful, and respectful manner.
Work under the general supervision of the dental chief or designee.
Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Dental Assistant Certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent certification.
Physical Requirements:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
