Our client, a thriving small to mid-size law firm with great culture (extremely low turnover); great reputation and continued growth, is seeking a Legal Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the firm. Highlighted Duties:
  • Manage all daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Oversee billing processes and coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure accuracy
  • Partner with a third-party payroll provider and ensure smooth payroll processing
  • Administer benefits programs (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) and serve as the primary point of contact for employees
  • Handle HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining compliance with employment policies
  • Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and oversee supply ordering and office needs
  • Plan firm-wide events and employee engagement activities
  • Ensure the office is appropriately staffed and operating efficiently
Highlighted Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounting
  • QuickBooks experience helpful
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employee benefits administration, and office operations
  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the firm
  • Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on leader who enjoys wearing many hats
