
Mechatronics & Robotics Technician , MRT - RME

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- At all times, promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and policies
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation using CMMS/APM and execute spare part changes when needed
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment to includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays and related systems
- At all times, maintain a positive working relationship with all RME and operation team members
- Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE) experience
- 1+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- 1+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledgePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
- 1+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 1+ of experience working with PLC based controls systems
- 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles

The base pay for this position ranges from $56,680/year in our lowest geographic market up to $76,024/year in our highest geographic market.
