
Maintenance Mechanic

- Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools.
- Understanding and adherence to all appropriate OSHA regulations
- Work along side production employees and contractors.
- Support troubleshooting of pumps,440v 3 phase electrical systems, motors, drives, boilers, pneumatic and hydraulic.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components such as motors, circuits, and control systems.
- Identify nessesary parts for maintenance needs and report to Maintenance Manger for Procument.
- Read and understand standard prints and instructions.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules.
- Willingness to work off schedule shifts to execute urgent maintenance needs.
- Ability to perform other maintenance, housekeeping, painting and miscellaneous tasks as needed and/or as directed by supervision.
- Proficiently perform all tasks with or without supervision.
- Must have computer skills (Word/Excel)
- Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant manufacturing-related mechanical or millwright experience, or 2 years technical traing preferred. Qualified candidates will possess mechanical aptitude skills, Welding and fabrication skills, general knowledge of PLC controls motor controls, and HVAC is a plus as well as a clear drug screen and background check.
