PAY RATE: $34/hourWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)Clearance Required: SecretSchedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PMIndustry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S.Qualifying Questions:Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Supports manufacturing and maintenance operations by managing procurement, inventory, and tool services.Coordinates with support organizations to resolve issues, ensures compliance with specifications, and provides cost-effective solutions.Participates in supplier evaluation, budget planning, and inventory management, including redistribution and removal of obsolete items.Works under limited supervision.Assess manufacturing and maintenance requirements; verify and respond to customer requestsInvestigate changes in requirements; recommend solutions and support emergent requestsAnalyze, procure, and oversee procurement of non-production materials, tools, and shop suppliesReview inventory usage; coordinate redistribution and removal of obsolete itemsEnsure compliance with industry specs, engineering definitions, and maintenance processesSupport budget development for tool services products and maintenance resourcesPrepare reports to meet organizational and contractual requirementsCommunicate effectively with suppliers, analysts, and internal/external stakeholdersRequirements:Active Secret ClearanceHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment3+ years of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) riskExperience using computer-based inventory management systemsWillingness to work variable shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Air Force Logistics Supply Systems, DoD inventory management procedures, and regulationsExperience with GFE/GFP and government inventory auditsProficiency in GOLD/GOLDesp Inventory Management SystemFlight line maintenance experience; familiarity with Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) manual and DCMA 8210.1CStrong organizational skills and ability to manage complex issuesProficiency in Microsoft Office for digital inventory, tool checkout, inspection, and data entryAbout Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
