- Primary technical interface to the customer
- Primary engineering interface to Program Management and Sales
- Lead cross functional technical product development team in development of drivetrain solutions
- Fiscal responsibility for engineering project expenses and forecasting
- Provide change and problem management leadership in identification, planning, and tracking of changes and problem resolution.
- Communication and presenting project status to management and customers.
- Lead and/or contribute to organizational continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster and promote teamwork by actively seeking collaboration with internal and external team members.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing of automotive powertrain systems required.
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication (verbal and written) skills required.
- Experience in Automotive project management preferred, such as development and maintaining project timelines, financial monitoring and forecasting of project budget, etc.
- Proficient in English language required
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, APQP.
- Proficiency in problem solving methodologies such as 8D / 5 phase.
- Proficiency with DFMEA, DRBTR, DRBFM, and ADVP&R
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes knowledge is required
