Job Summary
Children's Care & Development Center is seeking an experienced and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Two-Three team!The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging environment that supports developmental milestones and encourages exploration through age-appropriate curriculum and routines.Responsibilities
  • Oversee Team of 2 - 3 Assistant Teachers
  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with NAEYC standards
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Observe and document children’s progress using developmental assessments
  • Communicate regularly with families about their child’s growth and classroom activities
  • Collaborate with assistant teachers and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and health/safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of early child development and positive guidance techniques
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Patient, kind, and nurturing
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
