Position: Accounting Manager / Controller

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Accounting Manager / Controller to oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate and timely reporting for multiple business units. This role will be responsible for leading accounting staff, managing the close process, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with senior leadership to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop accounting staff; provide regular training, feedback, and performance evaluationsOversee general accounting functions, including journal entries, cost accounting, AP/AR review, and balance sheet reconciliationsManage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingServe as the key liaison for external and internal audits; oversee audit schedules, documentation, and fixed asset reconciliationsEstablish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiencyAnalyze capital expenditures, prepare supporting documentation for capital requests, and provide insights on project budgets vs. actualsDrive process improvement and best practice implementation across U.S. and international business unitsPrepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support business decisionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).Minimum of 5 years' experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit (supervisory experience strongly preferred) * Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting operations within a multi-entity or international environment
