You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Menifee, CADetails:
  • In-Person Tutoring in Menifee, CA
  • Schedule: Mornings on weekends
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience
  • Focus Area: Foundational ELA and Math
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children with autism, speech delays, and behavioral challenges
  • Proficiency in ABA techniques and behavior management strategies
  • Strong background in early elementary academic skills, including writing, spelling, reading comprehension, and math
  • Ability to provide a structured and encouraging learning environment
  • Patient, firm, and adaptable approach to tutoring
  • Reliable and able to conduct in-home sessions in Menifee, CA
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of writing skills, including handwriting, consistent letter size, spelling, and writing complete sentences.
  • Assist with math word problems and foundational ELA tasks, helping the student work through assignments accurately and neatly.
  • Encourage the student to complete homework independently before providing assistance, promoting self-confidence and problem-solving.
  • Implement ABA-based strategies to address behavioral challenges, such as head-banging, object throwing, and frustration during tasks.
  • Use motivational tools like timers, token boards, and structured breaks (approximately 5 minutes) to maintain focus and regulate emotions.
  • Integrate the student’s interests, such as arts and crafts videos, as rewards or incentives during sessions.
  • Maintain a calm, firm, and patient demeanor while providing clear expectations and consistent reinforcement of positive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the family to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to support academic and behavioral goals.
