
Grain Supervisor

- Manage and direct employees in the unloading and loading of grain commodities.
- Develop and implement best practices for product handling, machine efficiency, and employee productivity.
- Ensure bin charts are accurate and up-to-date; provide bin level and content updates to the Location Manager.
- Monitor and maintain grain quality, ensuring proper storage and blending of various grain types.
- Utilize forecasts and software programs to aid in effective inventory control.
- Communicate effectively with all location and grain personnel.
- Operate and maintain equipment efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs, maintaining accurate records of all related activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards, vehicle policies, fleet safety programs, and DOT regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience from a two-year college or technical school with at least two years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Rail/ Shuttle loader experience is a must.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Capability to work at elevated areas (4 feet and above) and in confined spaces.
- Availability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed.
