This role offers a flexible schedule, working 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance.In this hands-on position, you will play a critical role in supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your expertise and dedication will directly contribute to students’ academic success and social-emotional growth, helping them reach their full potential.Why You?You hold a current Ohio State teaching license for Intervention Specialists (a must-have!).You know Ohio State and Common Core Standards inside and out—and how to apply them creatively.You have proven experience in inclusion classrooms or co-teaching in resource rooms, championing students’ diverse learning needs.You thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that values coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement.Strong communication, organizational skills, and tech-savviness (Microsoft Word, Outlook) are in your toolkit.You're committed to building strong relationships with families and colleagues.You’re ready and able to pass federal and state criminal background checks.What You’ll Do:Partner with general education teachers to tailor instruction, modify curriculum, and ensure students with disabilities succeed alongside peers.Conduct diagnostic and functional behavior assessments, then develop and implement effective behavior improvement plans.Lead IEP meetings and write clear, measurable goals aligned with student needs and state requirements.Use research-based, culturally responsive teaching strategies every day.Serve as a trusted advisor for a group of students, supporting their academic and social-emotional development.Communicate regularly with families to celebrate progress and tackle challenges together.Participate in school activities that build community—field trips, events, and more.Why ACCEL Schools?
