Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Quality Engineer will collaborate with the Quality Manager to enhance the Quality Management System, lead root cause analysis using PFMEA, 8D, 5 Why, and core quality tools, and manage PPAP and control plans per AIAG standards. Supports ISO 9001:2015 audits.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive corrective actions for quality issues using 8D, 5 Why, and PFMEA.Manage PPAP, control plans, and process flow updates per AIAG.Conduct CPK and gage R&R analysis, maintaining data-driven process improvements.Create and revise SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and 6S standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & AbilitiesExpertise in PFMEA, 8D, 5 Why, control plans, and core quality tools.Proficient in GD&T, blueprint reading, and statistical analysis.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.QualificationsRequired Education & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field.10+ years of Quality Engineer experience in manufacturing.Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ) and Six Sigma Green Belt required.Additional Quality Assurance certifications preferred.Physical RequirementsWork in uncontrolled environments (noise, dust, mobile equipment).Lift up to 25 lbs, with 8–10-hour shifts requiring standing, bending, and dexterity.Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination.Why is This a Great OpportunityExcellent company with little turn overOpportunity for advancementHours can be 6-30p or 7-330p its 1st shift45 hours a week- 5 days a weekAbout CompanyWe are an emerging recruitment organization working with well-known clients based in the USA.
