Looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist for a machine shop in Buffalo, NY!!-Long term role with room to grow. Pay varies based on experience - up to $38/hr-1st shift hoursPlease respond with resume for immediate considerationJOB DUTIES:-Operate manual and CNC machines to turn, mill and grind various products to specifications-Operate, program and monitor multiple machines at once-Calculate and set controls to regulate machines for variances such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth/angle of cut, etc.-Read and interpret blueprints or sketches per specification-Perform quality checks on products as needed-Perform established routine maintenance on machines as scheduled or needed-Record all job activities-Communicate with co-workers and managers as needed-Maintain a clean and safe work areaREQUIREMENTS:-Must have 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably with lathes and mills-Must be proficient in setting-up and operating 3 Axis CNC lathes, 4 or 5 axis preferred-Programming experience is required-Must be able to decipher blueprints in order to define dimensions and tolerances for various production parts-Must have own basic machining tools - calipers, micrometers, etc-Must have high level of mechanical aptitude and be able to work well independently
