Plumbing Estimator - HVAC, Plumbing, and Oil Services - Base Salary to 115k/year - Coventry, RI

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for residential and commercial plumbing projects.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and related documents to understand project requirements.

• Conduct site visits as needed to gather relevant information.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather and verify scope-related details.

• Lead internal bid strategy meetings and manage the proposal effort from start to submission.

• Perform risk assessments and material/labor analysis to develop project estimates.

• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost competitiveness.

• Review contract documents and ensure compliance with scope and regulatory standards.

• Monitor actual project costs and suggest cost-control strategies.

• Contribute to the development of project budgets and schedules.

• 3+ years of experience in plumbing estimating or a related construction estimating role.

• HVAC estimating experience preferred.

• Bachelor’ s degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.

• Proven ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively.

• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and bid documentation.

• Experience with estimating software such as FastPIPE and FastDUCT.

• Base salary in the 110k - 115k/year range with full benefits including 100% paid health benefits for employee and family.
