Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Intern. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of EH&S practices within our organization and is designed for students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in the field. As an EH&S Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the EH&S team in implementing and maintaining safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. Responsibilities:Internship Details:The program will be a fulltime paid summer internship working for Panasonic Energy at the Nevada GigafactoryThe program will be 12 weeks in length, and is planned to occur between Monday, May 18 and Friday, August 7, 2026. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.Essential Duties:Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of EH&S policies and proceduresConduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with EH&S regulationsParticipate in the identification and evaluation of workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measuresSupport incident investigations, including collecting and analyzing data, and identifying root causes to prevent future occurrencesAssist in development and delivery of EH&S training programs for employeesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and ensure EH&S requirements are integrated into daily operationsAssist in the compilation and analysis of EH&S data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to managementStay up to date with current EH&S regulations, permits, and records in accordance with regulatory standardsContribute to the development and promotion of a strong safety culture by organizing safety campaigns, events, and awareness programsOther duties as assigned.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and respirator.The foregoing description is not intended and should not be construed to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and efforts or work conditions associated with the job.
