- Perform thorough vehicle inspections to accurately assess service needs and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Clearly explain recommended services and associated costs to customers, fostering transparency and trust.
- Schedule service appointments and efficiently manage the service department's workflow to ensure timely repairs.
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to facilitate smooth operations and ensure quality results.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, working to resolve issues in a professional and customer-friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in automotive service advising or similar customer service role in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and components, diagnostic processes, and repair techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with customers and work collaboratively with a team.
- Proficient with computer systems and software used for estimating, scheduling, and invoicing.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
