- Layout, fabrication and assembly of custom metal structures and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Operate fabrication equipment
- Perform high quality welding in multiple processes
- Cut, shape and prepare metal using tools such as; saws, shears, torches and grinders
- MIG, TIG and stick welding
- Working with steel, aluminum and stainless steel
- Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products
- Operate fabrication machinery such as; press brakes, rollers and plasma cutters
- Troubleshoot fabrication challenges
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Assist in loading, unloading and staging materials for fabrication
- Must have previous proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a manufacturing, construction or custom fabrication environment
- Must be proficient in MIG and TIG welding and knowledge of stick welding is a plus
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
