- Material Movement:
- Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.
- Follow detailed instruction and established procedures.
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Load and unload material from trucks and containers.
- Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and reconciling of discrepancies.
- Enter inventory transactions accurately into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices.
- Run and analyze inventory and KPI reports using ERP/MRP systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles.
- Report inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and material movement documentation.
- Report issues and participate in root cause analysis for material discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting technique.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas where material is stored and moved out on the production floor.
- Maintain awareness and report to leaders’ potential safety hazards.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to address challenges and improve processes.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.
- Provide informal guidance or mentoring to less experienced team members, including demonstrating proper material processes and techniques.
- Workspace Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Store tools and equipment properly.
- Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
- Crosstrain in other areas and adjust to new processes or technologies.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (OPTIONAL)
- Experience:
- 1+ year of material handling and inventory experience.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with material handling and inventory control.
- Basic computer literacy, including data entry, basic knowledge of ERP systems, and ability to use barcode scanners.

- Material Movement: Ability to use proper lifting techniques and material movement equipment effectively.
- Quality Control: Ability to review material to ensure it meets quality standards.

- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle material and parts.
- Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
- Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.

- Environmental Exposure: Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.
