Radiologic Technologist Job Details
  • Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Travel Position
  • Location: Bozeman, MT 59715 (Montana healthcare jobs)
  • Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
  • Setting: Acute Care Hospital
  • Shift: Overnight shifts, 7 days on/7 days off
  • Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 12/29/2025)
  • No On-Call Requirement
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2030 - $2190
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
  • Valid Montana Radiology Technologist License (required for Montana radiology jobs)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), R.T.(R)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification (within three months of hire)
  • Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience (clinical internship may be considered)
  • Competency in advanced imaging: fluoroscopic/C-Arm in OR, trauma, and portable radiography within 6 months
  • Traveler must reside at least 90 miles from the facility
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic exams as ordered by healthcare providers
  • Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with radiology providers
  • Assist with US-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis
  • Educate patients on radiology procedure preparation and post-care
  • Support radiology nursing with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements
  • Perform C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR for surgeons
  • Document, report, archive, and retrieve radiology exams
  • Manage exam distribution, billing, and archival processes
  • Retrieve written orders and relevant health information
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical support initiatives
  • Educate radiography students, new hires, and fellow technologists
  • Follow safety protocols for bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and problem-solving skills
