Structural Engineer – Structural Steel Fabrication & DesignWe’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join a well-established structural steel fabricator with a strong track record of delivering large-scale, high-profile projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding structures, collaborating closely with project managers, fabricators, and detailers to ensure designs are both innovative and buildable.As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, reviewing, and optimizing structural steel systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency from concept through completion.Key Responsibilities:Perform structural analysis and design for steel-framed buildings and miscellaneous steel structuresReview and approve shop drawings, connection designs, and fabrication detailsCollaborate with project managers, detailers, and fabricators to resolve design and constructability issuesEnsure all designs meet applicable codes, specifications, and industry standards (AISC, AWS, IBC, etc.)Provide engineering support throughout fabrication and erection phasesPrepare calculations, technical reports, and documentation for submittals and approvalsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering3+ years of structural engineering experience with a focus on steel structuresStrong knowledge of steel design codes and standards (AISC, AWS, ASTM)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with steel fabricators and erectorsFamiliarity with Tekla, SDS/2, or BIM coordinationCompensation & Benefits:$100,000 – $120,000 (DOE)Comprehensive Medical BenefitsPTO & Paid Holidays401K Retirem
