Laboratory AssistantLab Assistant – Flow Cytometry Department (Morning Shift)About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Lab Assistant to support our Flow Cytometry Department. This role is essential in preparing patient data and reports for cancer case analysis, ensuring that laboratory technicians have accurate and organized information prior to testing. The position is heavily focused on data entry and administrative support. While this position does not involve direct handling or testing of biological samples, it plays a vital role in ensuring that laboratory technicians have the necessary data and documentation to begin testing efficiently.Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and review patient results from internal systems
  • Pull and compile data reports related to cancer cases
  • Prepare case summaries and documentation for flow cytometry testing
  • Organize and format data for technician use prior to test initiation
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of patient information
  • Communicate effectively with lab personnel to ensure timely workflow
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required (science or healthcare-related field preferred)
  • Prior experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with data entry
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data integrity
