Responsibilities:
  • As the Senior Network Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the project network and security infrastructure
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability
  • Ensure network security by implementing firewalls and other security measures
  • Participate in IT network infrastructure project design, reviews, and ensure network architecture goals and requirements are met and aligned with business objectives
  • Develop network and security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions, test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field
  • Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Palo Alto, Azure, AWS, or Fortinet
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration
  • Strong expertise with Palo Alto, FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco switch/route, AWS & Azure networking technologies
  • Experience in network security principles, firewalls, cyber security, intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Expertise with Sierra AMM, Airlink MP70/MG90 preferred
  • Experience with Getac DVRs and body cameras would be beneficial
  • Monitor Jira, Tenable, and Acunetix to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Skilled in scripting and automation of system infrastructure, tasks and deployment items using Bash, Python, PowerShell, as well as others
  • History of configuring and managing identity management solutions both in the cloud and on-premises. (e.g. Azure AD, IAM, AWS Cognito or others.)
  • Experience with technologies and protocols including BGP, SDN, SD-WAN, and network virtualization technologies
  • Experience working in a highly secure environment governed by standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO, or FedRAMP
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
