- As the Senior Network Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the project network and security infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls and other security measures
- Participate in IT network infrastructure project design, reviews, and ensure network architecture goals and requirements are met and aligned with business objectives
- Develop network and security documentation, including diagrams and work instructions, test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field
- Certifications in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Palo Alto, Azure, AWS, or Fortinet
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration
- Strong expertise with Palo Alto, FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco switch/route, AWS & Azure networking technologies
- Experience in network security principles, firewalls, cyber security, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Expertise with Sierra AMM, Airlink MP70/MG90 preferred
- Experience with Getac DVRs and body cameras would be beneficial
- Monitor Jira, Tenable, and Acunetix to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Skilled in scripting and automation of system infrastructure, tasks and deployment items using Bash, Python, PowerShell, as well as others
- History of configuring and managing identity management solutions both in the cloud and on-premises. (e.g. Azure AD, IAM, AWS Cognito or others.)
- Experience with technologies and protocols including BGP, SDN, SD-WAN, and network virtualization technologies
- Experience working in a highly secure environment governed by standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO, or FedRAMP
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
