- Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient and workforce safety as it relates to job duties.
- Serves as the liaison between Corporate Finance and CFO on all Gilchrist related matters including Hospice, Geriatrics, Palliative Care and other grant programs as assigned. (e.g.Kaiser, GUIDE)
- Collaborates with the President and CFO of Gilchrist in preparation, analysis and presentation of financial reports and statistics to the Boards of Directors, Leadership and Administration including variance detail and reporting
- Manages the Monthly Close Process for all Gilchrist companies and Joint Ventures including the preparation of journal entries.
- Review and monitors internal controls over financial transactions of Gilchrist.
- Reviews, interprets and analyzes financial and statistical data for Gilchrist Leadership. Provides fiscal support to Gilchrist for services for accounting, disbursements, restricted funds, fixed assets (in conjunction with GBMC) and treasury functions.
- Manages the LogicSource relationship and serves a the Contracting Manger for all key clinical vendor relationships over $250,000. (e.g. DME, Pharmacy and Medical Supplies) Attends quarterly business reviews with key vendors. Plans, organizes, plans and executes on bi-annual co-producer meetings. Involves appropriate operational leaders in this work.
- Provides technical assistance for Gilchrist departments in the financial evaluation/assessment of new programs/services.
- Provides financial information to all levels of Gilchrist management as necessary.
- Manages Accounting Staff in all aspects of month end reporting, annual tax filings and audit as well as other requests for analysis as needed.
- Support to Revenue Cycle Manager and team.
- Manage the account reconciliation process for all Gilchrist and Joint Venture accounts.
- Directs and manages the Gilchrist portion of any financial audits and tax filings
- Manage and assist in the preparation of Cost Reports for Gilchrist from beginning to submission to CGS.
- Manage and assist in the preparation of the 990with preparation of support and submission into the vendor data portal(s).
- Responsible for the calculation and submission of Physician Incentive payouts for Gilchrist and Joint Venture as needed
- Provides all financials and support for the processing of grant submissions by the philanthropy group for Gilchrist.
- Annual Budget Preparation with Leadership and support to CFO
- Collaborates with Gilchrist Leadership for analysis of data that pertains to financials.
- Manage team with System upgrades/applications as it relates to Finance/Accounting (Workday/Adaptive), Kronos and others as implemented. Provide support for incorporation of new business into current financial reporting and processes as needed.
