Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Straightening Press Operator to join their team. As a Straightening Press Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Clare, MIWhat’s the Job?
Installs power supply, wiring and conduit to machinery and equipment
Must be able to safely work with three phase or single phase wiring
Must be knowledgeable with a wide variety of welding and CNC machine related equipment
Diagnoses/repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, control boxes, wires and cables
Plans layout of wiring, installs wiring for machinery and equipment, phone and computer lines as required
Preventative maintenance
other duties as assigned
What’s Needed?
Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
or six months to one year related experience and/or training
Previous preventative maintenance required
maintenance on factory equipment, cranes, hoists, forklifts and building required
Experience with electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components
