- Maintain technical documents related to formulas and finished products. Understand, respect, and act ethically when dealing with matters related to regulatory compliance. This candidate must possess the ability to apply regulatory knowledge to make compliance decisions on food color systems across multiple countries and product platforms.
- Serve as the internal and external customer liaison for our customers as they replace certified colors (artificial colors) with exempt from certification colors ('natural' colors).
- Supports external customer by providing routine or standard technical information in areas of subject matter expertise / core technology while demonstrating superior customer relations skills. Serves as a secondary resource for non-routine or confidential information disclosure.
- Supports internal customers (including Sales, Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Marketing) by serving as subject matter expert in assigned areas by interpreting regulations, providing information to address external customer needs, providing guidance in the development of products to internal customers by accurately maintaining product information databases.
- Identify, manage and execute projects.
- Identify sales restrictions by market and/or region as dictated by Regulatory statutes.
- Bachelor's degree in science discipline (Food Science, Chemistry) or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of regulatory experience, preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of food composition and chemistry is required.
- Ability to gain and apply extensive knowledge of regional and international food and beverage regulations.
- Primary language English, Secondary language prefered in Spanish, French, German, or Italian.
- Strong computer skills, with the flexibility to learn web technology, SAP and ERP systems, and document control computer systems.
