Higher than CDCA preferred.What You'll Be Doing:-Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals struggling with chemical dependency using a bio-psychosocial approach.-Educate patients and families about the disease process of chemical dependency.-Lead group discussions, work one-on-one with patients, and assign group activities for Mental Health Technicians.-Assess patient needs and recommend appropriate groups.-Complete billing charges/sheets daily.-Utilize historic and current data to assess patient needs and provide effective counseling.-Provide individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.-Act as a client advocate, mediator, and facilitator.Additional Info:Position reports to a highly professional and empathetic manager who holds high expectations for staff.Join a great team of individuals dedicated to helping those struggling with chemical dependency and provide exceptional care to our community in east central Ohio.
