Location: Mason, OhioFull-Time | Competitive Compensation + BenefitsWe are a growing, multi-location dealership group with a centralized accounting office serving 15 stores. We're seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead and oversee one or more functional departments within our centralized accounting team-such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Titles, etc.This is a great opportunity for an experienced, organized, and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of assigned accounting department(s) within the centralized office.
- Manage a team of accounting staff-providing leadership, training, workflow direction, and performance management.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of transactions and department deliverables.
- Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments and store-level personnel to resolve discrepancies and support operational needs.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and reporting as needed.
- Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience; dealership or centralized accounting experience is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of dealership accounting systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) is a plus.
