- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, recreation management (preferred)
- RELATED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of management experience (YMCA Program Director, preferred)
- SPECIALIZED SKILLS: Knowledge and demonstrated competence in implementing best practices in program area, management, volunteer and staff development, program operations and financial development; Strong written and oral communication skills
- LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Multi-Team or Branch Leader Certification (preferred)

- Negotiate and secure:
- Venues for all conferences and meetings
- All in conference transportation: shuttle buses, airport
- AV & WiFi contracts
- Catering contracts
- Collaborate with Programming & Venue staff regarding program room set up needs & implementation
- Create logistics plan for every conference
- Create a hotel/camp/barrack rooming system & procedures for all conferences with overnight
- In charge of the volunteer safety & logistics team at conferences and be able to troubleshoot & quickly come up with
- Responsible for creating, coordinating & implementing Y&G's Safety & Emergency Plans, which means working with Y&G team, volunteers and LA Risk Management.
- Actively and continuously strategize plans to reduce program expenses. This can be accomplished by building partnerships and relationships with different organizations that offer reduced, discounted, or no charge
- Manage growth in the number of volunteers and the number of volunteer opportunities available within the program area
- Serves as a member of YMCA management and supports the overall objectives of the
