This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.Duties and Responsibilities· Provide clear and effective counsel to management on all HR issues, including performance feedback, progressive discipline, employee relation concerns, and policy and procedure interpretation and application, and employment law.· Assist in employee communications, change management initiatives, and oversee employee engagement.· Act to facilitate good communication throughout the organization.· Administer various human resource procedures for all company personnel.· Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.· Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.· Conduct new-employee orientations when needed.· Attend and participate in meetings, as required.· Comply with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.· Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree and three to five years’ human resource experience.· Organized and methodical in approach to problem solving.· Excellent communication skills.· Understanding of legalities of business law in relation to HR and employee employment rights.· Excellent computer skills.· Working knowledge of ADP, a plus.· Strong work ethic and team player.· High degree of professionalism.
