The Director of Operations will ensure the operations, inside sales, and warehouse teams are providing best practice service to the Florida Lottery while meeting/exceeding the expectations of the contract.Ensures seamless, efficient and timely execution of the company’s site operationsManages the sales supervisor and the warehouse supervisor, helping them achieve the site goals, KPI’s and objectivesSkilled problem-solver with managerial expertise to supervise daily site operationsOversee employee production and cultivate a conducive work environment which fosters productivitySkilled in process optimization including analyzing workflows and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and cost reductionProficient in utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and drive operational improvementsPartners with the Lottery to execute sales and marketing strategies as outlined by the LotterySupervises, trains, and guides the work of the inside/outside sale representatives and warehouse employees through comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly KPIsIn cooperation with the Florida Lottery, develops plans to support Key Accounts and Corporate AccountsIn cooperation with the Florida Lottery, directs sales objectives and evaluates sales representatives’ performance on objectives and KPIsRecruits new retail locations, optimizes existing retail locations, and develops strategies to attract non-traditional retail locationsActs as a liaison between the retail network and the Florida Lottery management teamEnsures compliance with safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environmentProvide recommendations for process improvement, efficiencies, and cost saving measures to the Director of Sales and OperationsQualificationsEducationBS Degree in Logistics, Business, Management or related fieldRequired Skillset and QualificationsPrimary experience in managing a sales organization5+ years supervisory and Management experienceExperience in coordinating multiple tasksComputer savvy with experience in technical operations with software and system toolsUnderstanding of retail sales environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Highly organizedStrong operation, leadership and management skillsPositive and self-motivated attitude and ability to work with others as a teamAbility to remain tactful and diplomatic in difficult situations.Experienced with IT solutions and skilled with mechanical diagnostics/resolutionMicrosoft Office Applications Experience (Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook 360) preferred.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
