QualificationsPharmacy Technician IEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTNo additional experience required.Pharmacy Technician IIEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTAt least three (3) years of experience in a related field.Pharmacy Technician IIIEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTAt least five (5) years of experience in a related field.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); no exceptions.COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should know Database software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain throughout employment. Can be obtained during orientation. Must be able to obtain a Pharmacy Technician Permit within 60 days of employment as a Pharmacy Technician as specified by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSThe employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Must have a working knowledge of computers.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
