- Studies the organizational structure, business goals, and processes of potential and current customers to assist in creating a targeted prospect plan.
- Partners with customers and internal management team to provide quotes that fit the customers needs and budget.
- Assists customers to meet their specific needs by performing functions such as: reviewing inventory, scheduling shipments, and evaluating and resolving items to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provides ongoing service and customer consultation to keep the accounts operating well for a long-term partnership.
- Maintains sales data in the system, while also providing reports to management, to understand the current sales status and working with the Sales Manager on future sales strategies.
- Attends tradeshows and other networking events to build the company brand and create new relationships that will build the sales pipeline.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree completed in Sales, Business or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience: 5+ years of Sales experience in the metal fabrication industry, working directly with small and large corporate accounts. Looking for a candidate who has their own book of business they are trying to grow.

- Functional Skills: Proven ability to research, plan, organize and prioritize activities to make an impact in Sales; strong analytical and higher-dollar order reasoning abilities; ability to use creative talents and skills to successfully resolve problems; high ability to listen, problem-solve, and provide solutions over the phone and/or in person; develops solutions that work; works committedly with others to solve problems and resolve situations.
- Technology Skills: Advanced aptitude with computers, ERP systems, Microsoft, and other presentations systems.
- Communication Skills: Strong written & verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation and presentation skills are required.
- Leadership/ Behaviors: Customer-focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, possessing a drive to compete and succeed; energetic, with the ability to listen, network, and influence individuals and teams; Supportive of customers; can build and maintain relationships with ease; Ability to listen carefully and collaborate to reach the best solutions; responds thoughtfully and non-defensively to questions and concerns.
