- Provide supervision of a single or multiple cGMP / Life Sciences projects during each phase of construction; including but not limited to pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction.
- Fulfill the role of cGMP expert on projects of large scale where a Project Executive may be engaged in the leadership role. Work in partnership with other Senior Project Managers / Project Managers on the project team.
- Work in partnership with the Project Executive and/or other members of the project team to plan, manage, monitor and deliver the project in accordance with the project’s established goals.
- Work as the project lead and/or supervise others to plan and coordinate Project Document & Data Management (PDDM), and CQV/TOP document management directly related to cGMP Facilities.
- Create and execute project work plans and make appropriate revisions to meet changing needs.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
- Support the preconstruction and estimating activities of projects, which may include the development of subcontractor bid packages, the development of accurate and comprehensive estimates, buyout and procurement, and executing change pricing as needed.
- Prepare and/or review deliverables prepared by the team before presentation to the client.
- Effectively apply BNB’s project delivery processes and methodologies and enforce project standards.
- Assist or lead the preparation of proposals and presentations in the pursuit of new project opportunities.
- Participate in client and industry partner relationship building activities.
- Coordinate and oversee the performance of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
- Identify the elements of project design, construction and site conditions likely to provide risks and/or give rise to disputes and claims. Develop and execute mitigation strategies in partnership with the other project team members.
- Responsible for ensuring that construction activities progress according to predetermined schedule, budget, quality, and project profitability forecasts. Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities on a regular basis.
- Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, owner’s representatives and designers about project progress and any necessary modifications of plans.
- Potential travel as needed.
- Graduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Sciences, Architecture or related fields.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity with an emphasis on cGMP facilities in the Life Sciences sector.
- Minimum 5-years working for a general contractor or construction manager.
- A minimum of at least one (1) project involving the construction of a peptide manufacturing facility
- This role requires expertise of CQV/TOP procedures and processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
