Job DescriptionWHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks
  • Service, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, axles and electrical systems
  • Move trucks and forklifts throughout the property
  • Operate specialized tooling and vehicles
  • Maintain proficiency on equipment and technologies that enhance our productivity
  • Properly document all equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations into electronic maintenance program/completion of paperwork.
  • Perform proper safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment, and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure work area is always clean, safe, and organized
  • Interact in a respectful and professional manner with drivers and shop management
Job RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, and overtime as needed.
  • 5 years of verifiable experience in truck repair and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Cummins engines and diagnostics
  • A valid and clean driver's license
  • Air Brakes certification
  • Basic hand tools required for heavy duty truck maintenance
  • Basic welding skills (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG and ARC)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork Mindset and great character
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
  • Diesel tech school diploma
  • Previous or current ASE certifications
  • Class A CDL
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional shop/yard environment.
