- Conduct extensive benchmarking of existing QA/lab management platforms tailored to fertilizer testing, including digital QMS, LIMS, and document control systems.
- Develop and document a customized Quality Management System (QMS) structure aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards applicable to fertilizers.
- Define and launch a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support sample tracking, testing workflows, and data integrity.
- Write quality procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs) covering sample intake, testing workflow, result validation, deviation handling, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Compile a Quality Manual detailing overarching policies, quality objectives, organizational chart, document control, and continuous improvement processes.
- Establish an approach for validation of in-house test methods, including method comparison (reference vs. in-house), acceptance criteria, and statistical confirmation.
- Manage a pilot phase by overseeing sample runs, documenting performance (accuracy, precision, bias), and evaluating outcomes.
- Create audit/check plans and schedules for process adherence.
- Work collaboratively with lab teams, operations, and engineering.
- Provide regular status updates and promptly flag risks/issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agronomy, Agriculture, or related science.
- Previous experience (3+ years) in QA/QC within agricultural products, ideally fertilizer-related, with evidence of developing or overseeing quality systems.
- Hands-on lab experience in method validation, SOPs, and quality control charts.
