Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Nashville, TN, to find an Electronic Systems Engineer to lead the development of electronic and electromechanical controls within product development projects.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Apply systems engineering principles to electronic control development
  • Manage system-level requirements and decompose into hardware, software, and firmware specifications
  • Develop architecture and design specifications, including functional block diagrams
  • Define and execute test plans for design verification and validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, firmware, software) and external suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Support risk assessment processes (FMEA/DFMEA) and maintain comprehensive documentation
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering (ABET accredited)
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic systems development, with expertise in V-model methodologies
  • Strong background in system integration, communications protocols (RS-485, Ethernet, Wi-Fi), and control logic (PLC/PID)
  • Experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test instrumentation
