Pleasant based manufacturer to find a Freight & Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of shipments from origin to destination while supporting warehouse operations as needed. This role emphasizes freight coordination, international documentation, and logistics problem-solving.Compensation for the Freight & Logistics Coordinator:

Key Responsibilities for the Freight & Logistics Coordinator:
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight shipments across domestic and international markets
Arrange FTL and LTL carriers, negotiate rates, and monitor freight costs
Partner with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to track and resolve shipment issues
Prepare and review export and import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
Maintain accurate shipping records and update ERP/TMS systems (Epicor experience is a plus)
Communicate shipping schedules and requirements with warehouse staff
Audit freight activity and recommend cost-effective logistics solutions
Support order processing, inventory transactions, and palletizing activities when needed
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company procedures
Qualifications Freight & Logistics Coordinator:
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years experience in freight coordination, logistics, or supply chain roles
Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international shipping regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with ERP or Transportation Management Systems (Epicor strongly preferred)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
