This position is fully remote.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:The Acquisition Management Specialist – OI assists OI in developing RFPs and the assessment of associated proposals to include developing, reviewing and providing technical inputs on contractual documentation such as Statements of Work/ Technical Instructions/Scope of Work revisions and evaluation of contracted system developers’ responses for feasibility and completeness.Develop and support the management of program plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the program's Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).Work with OI clients to establish and monitor the program’s execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.Assist the Government program or project manager in establishing project priorities.Assist the Government program/project manager in coordinating and establishing the agenda and entrance/exit criteria for project meetings including Integrated Baseline Reviews, Program Management Reviews, In-Progress Reviews and other key technical interchange meetings.Assist the Government program/project manager in tracking project cost, schedule and technical performance.Serve as the Government program or project manager’s technical advisor on the adequacy of the system developer’s execution of contractual requirements related to integrating, testing and fielding advanced technology packages to the operational environment.Report information on the status of task order projects, along with any associated modifications and evaluate the contracted system developers’ execution against the established Performance Measurement Baseline metrics.Prepare SES and higher headquarters-level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support executive program recommendations and decisions.Basic Qualifications:5 years of position-specific relevant experience.BA/BSIn-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal acquisition, systems engineering, financial management and lifecycle logistics practices and policies. DHS Reporting Requirements experience including the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) E300.Desired Qualifications:Experience organizing, directing, and managing business operations functions across the acquisition lifecycle involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks.Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization.Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate, review, and execute technical requirements related to financial planning, project scheduling, cost estimating, and planning, programming, budgeting, and accountability (PPBA) for IT and/or Non-IT Systems across the Acquisition Lifecycle.Clearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
