- In this role, you will identify, develop and commercialize new technologies and processes for hydrogen production
- Also, you will improve the competitiveness of new hydrogen plants and increase the productivity of existing hydrogen plants
- Conduct process simulations and techno-economic analyses to evaluate the impact of new concepts
- Experimentally validate the performance of new technologies at the bench and pilot-scale
- In addition, you will participate in commercial-scale field demonstrations
- Collaborate globally with key internal stakeholders from R&D, Engineering, Business, Operations, etc
- You will interact effectively with external parties, such as technology partners, funding agencies, vendors and contractors
- Clearly document and communicate work via internal reports and effective presentations to senior management
- Additionally, you will defend and grow Linde's intellectual property in the hydrogen area

- You have a PhD in Chemical Engineering
- You have relevant experience in an industrial and/or R&D environment
- Experience with technologies for the generation of clean, low carbon intensity, blue or green hydrogen, such as solvent-based - -- CO2 capture or electrolysis
- Also, you possess deep subject matter expertise in catalysis, reactor engineering, process optimization, heat transfer, separations, gas absorption and/or electrolysis
- Experience in safely devising and conducting hydrogen-related experiments at the bench and/or pilot-scale
- In addition, you have experience deploying a new technology in a commercial plant environment
- You also are experienced with advanced process and/or unit operation modelling skills, beyond basic simulation packages such as UniSim, Aspen, etc
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, Visual Basic, C++, etc
