
Commercial Sales Manager

- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers, developing and executing strategic account plans that align with customer objectives and drive expansion and retention
- Build strong, multi-level relationships with key decision-makers, technical stakeholders, and influencers to understand evolving business needs and uncover new use cases
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by introducing customers to the full breadth of Digital Realty's global platform, including colocation, interconnection, and edge solutions
- Proactively conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate value, introduce innovation, and explore additional areas of partnership
- Engage and co-sell with strategic partners and ecosystem alliances to deliver joint value propositions and unlock new customer growth paths
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Commercial Management, and Channel teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
- Ensure on-time renewals and lead contract negotiations with a focus on maintaining long-term relationships and minimizing churn
- Partner with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently while acting as a customer advocate
- Monitor usage trends, account health, and satisfaction scores to proactively address risks and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain account activity, renewals, pipeline updates, and forecasting accuracy in Salesforce (SFDC)
- Contribute to Digital Realty's brand reputation by being a trusted advisor and value-added resource for your customers
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or development-focused sales roles, preferably within the data center, telecom, IT, or technology industries
- Proven ability to build deep, trusted relationships that lead to account growth, expansion, and long-term retention
- Experience collaborating with strategic partners, channels, or ecosystem providers to jointly drive customer value and account growth
- Strong understanding of solution selling and the ability to articulate value to both technical and business stakeholders
- Track record of managing a book of business with a focus on renewals, upsells, and account development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement
- Experience navigating complex organizations and multi-threading relationships across departments and levels
- Skilled in pipeline management, forecasting, and territory/account planning
- Comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams and working in a matrixed environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and a commitment to accurate data management and reporting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple customer engagements simultaneously
