Licensed Vocational Nurse 752

• Provide nursing services to children and adolescents in outpatient mental health clinic.
• Provide support to families receiving mental health services.
• Manage daily psychiatric clinic including filing medical records and coordinating medical care.
• Administer labs, weights, AIMS screenings, and other appropriate medical procedures in support of Center psychiatric appointments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Keep required Center training current and complete training necessary to maintain LVN licensure.
• Performs related work as assigned.

• Knowledge of behavioral health and treatment approached.
• Must have the ability to provide nursing services and support to Klaras Center for Families psychiatric clinic.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with consumers and colleagues. Good work habits and organizational skills.
• Must possess familiarity with computer operations. Must be dependable, reliable and demonstrate the ability to maintain consumer confidentiality; adhere to Center policies and procedures and other regulations relevant to job duties.
• Excellent written communication and computer skills for inputting clinical documentation
• Excellent verbal communication with clients, staff, and community providers
• Time management and organizational skills
• Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified
• Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required

• Current and unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
