Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in San Diego, CA is looking to hire an experienced Municipal Outside Sales Representative to sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories; identify potential leads, educate prospects, manage orders, and provide customers with exceptional service and support. This full-time position will cover the San Diego, Long Beach, Los Angeles and Palm Springs areas, and work Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.Reasons to work with us:

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN MUNICIPAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
  • Prospect, sell, and proactively manage relationships with the municipal market
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders
  • Prepare and deliver responses to RFQ's and bids
  • Meet regularly with key decision-makers from municipalities, counties, and state agencies to build and maintain relationships

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Associate's degree and/or previous municipality sales experience preferred
