Job Title: Delivery DriverCompany: Woofer Electronics DistributorsLocation: Itasca, ILPay Range: $17 - $19 per hour, based on experienceJob Type: Full-TimeAbout Us:Woofer Electronics Distributors, a leading electronics distribution company in Itasca, IL, is seeking a dedicated and responsible Delivery Driver to join our growing team. As a key part of our logistics chain, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality electronics products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of our products to businesses and individuals.
  • Load and unload products from vehicles in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer authorizations.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and positive manner.
  • Operate delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspection checks.
  • Report any discrepancies to the direct supervisor.
  • Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
  • Good time management and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
