
Manager, External Reporting

- Write and review key sections of the company's quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), press earnings release, and related disclosures
- Assist in the preparation of XBRL tagging, quarterly disclosure checklists, and tie-outs to supporting documentation
- Support the management of the external reporting calendar by coordinating reviews, communicating key deadlines with stakeholders, and assisting in the timely preparation and submission of SEC filings.
- Prepare consolidated Statement of Cash Flows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with supporting schedules and disclosures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting teams to collect and validate inputs and disclosures for external reporting deliverables
- Support quarterly and year-end audit and review processes by coordinating deliverables and responding to audit inquiries
- Assist with financial statement disclosures related to new accounting standards, acquisitions, debt/equity activity, and other significant events
- Work with financial systems including SAP, OneStream, and Workiva to ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency of reporting deliverables
- Help develop materials for senior leadership, including the Audit Committee and Controllership leadership team
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting calendar management
- Reports directly to the Senior Manager of External Reporting and works closely as part of a collaborative team with Financial Reporting
- Support the Director and VP of Financial Reporting on special projects, internal reporting packages, and ad hoc analysis
- Monitor and assess new or evolving financial reporting requirements and contribute to implementation efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a publicly traded company or a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
- Understanding of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and transparency.
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs office, a minimum of three days per week.
