Opportunity Information:Performs delivery and pick up service to customer base on an established delivery route. Receives and checks incoming product. Performs inventory control functions as directed by manager. Assists in maintaining clean and orderly working environment both in the branch and in delivery vehicles.Uses company vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
Keeps vehicle fueled in accordance to management instructions and business needs and notifies management of
needed repairs.
Follows all safety rules and applicable laws.
Cleans and maintains branch and parts area in a safe and orderly condition.
Responsible for maintaining and storing equipment (i.e. pagers, keys, fuel card) in accordance to warehouse
guidelines.
Accurately interprets various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
Opens bales, crates and other containers. Marks materials with identifying information
Sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other
designated areas, by part and quantity.
Uses computer to dispatch, confirm customer or stock orders and to generate delivery manifests and receiving
documents.
Attends meetings as scheduled by manager.
Participates in available training opportunities as discussed with manager.Picks up or delivers merchandise or paperwork and collects funds from customers between WORLDPAC
locations and/or feeder points. At feeder points, may be responsible for distribution of merchandise.
Answer phone calls and handles customers at will call thru use of electronic system to identify, source and
invoice needed parts.1 -3 Years of related experience.Must have a valid driving license for two years and a good driving record.
Must meet all applicable state-specific driver's license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform
delivery duties.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and
procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and
decimals.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
Current valid driver's license with clear record. Forklift operator training may be required in certain locations.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to write clear and grammatical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers
or employees of organization.Education: High School Diploma or GEDLanguage requirement: EnglishFollows standard operating procedures and refers all questions and problems to immediate supervisor.Often required to interact outside their department. May involve occasional interaction with external contacts. Pay Range: USD $14.25 - USD $23.75 /Hr. Location Type: On-Site
