Performance Improvement Coordinator - Total Quality Management - 40 Hours - DaysEligible for Full-Time BenefitsShift: Days 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. No weekends.GENERAL SUMMARY: Organizes and coordinates performance improvement program activities and workflow.Responsibilities:Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.Researches, develops/acquires and implements improvement systems, methodologies and tools to improve operations.Collaborates with Leaders to develop and revise screening indicators.Provides on-site training and follow-up for performance improvement teams.Performs regulatory documentation preparation, submission, and maintenance. Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.Assists in policy, procedure and contract review process. Coordinates quality improvement initiatives..EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Nursing degree highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of acute care hospital experience.
  • Previous Med/Surg ortho experience a plus.
  • Previous experience working with BCBS Pay for Performance CQIs a plus.
  • Experience working within MARCQI collaborative a plus.
  • Previous project management/quality improvement experience preferred.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office and comfortable with data analysis and presenting to medical staff leaders and administration.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES REQUIRED:BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES PREFERRED:
  • Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Mgmt. preferred.
