Description:Supervises exempt, SCA and wage employees engaged in a wide range of warehouse storage, material delivery, disposal, and freight services functions. Directs and provides technical assistance to personnel engaged in material management. Communicates with staff, management and government in resolving issues. Performs other related duties as required. Responsibilities:
  • Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews work plans for assigned Storekeepers; assigns work activities, reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures of assigned personnel to ensure compliance with PWS and AFI requirements.
  • Ensures safe work practices, quality and accuracy; meets with Storekeeper Leads to identify and resolve problems.
  • Provides on-the-job training, coordinates external training and performs competency evaluations on personnel.
  • Provides positive motivation for employee performance; evaluates subordinates' performance, and counsels, documents, initiates, and participates in the disciplinary process.
  • Ensures all personnel are mentally and physically fit for duty.
  • Develop and track metrics for supply performance.
  • Participates in internal (COR) and external inspections and assists government in completion of MICT checklists.
  • Supervises all aspects of Transportation Management Office to include shipment of household goods and MILSTRIP and Non MILSTRIP.
  • As the FSS contract GFP administrator, responsible to:
  • Manage contract GFP in the Akima Asset Management System (AAMS) and government Property Inventory (PI) module.
  • Conduct monthly audits of the FAR property management function areas and provide a report to the government property administrator.
  • Conduct annual inventory of all assigned GFP, provide weekly progress updates and a final inventory status report to the government property administrator, coordinate closeout actions of any discrepancies such as Lost and Damaged Property reports, and perform final reconciliation in AAMS and PI.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Three or more years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WAM, ILS-S, and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Possess a good working knowledge of Supply and warehousing operations.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations related to Government Property management.
  • Analytical ability to define and recognize dimension of programs involved, collect necessary. data, establish facts, and take and/or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
